ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Softball Association is hoping the 2012 Season will be as action packed as last time around and has announced the schedule of leagues and also the exciting news of a four team tournament to be held January 27, 2012.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The International Softball Confederation (ISC) held its 25th Congress in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA from October 28-30, 2011, with the British Virgin Islands Softball Association represented by President, Neville Smith, Vice President, Glenford Maduro and Statistician, Arnold Letttsome.
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – With only two weeks to go, preparations are well underway for the naming of the softball field in Nibbs Estate to the Roger Allen Hodge Park and the erecting of a statue at a ceremony set for Monday, October 31, 2011.
The Playoffs in the 2011 Irvine Fletcher Scatliffe Softball League, sponsored by LIME, began Saturday June 25 with Kathleen Fahie pitching the Crushers to a 17-9 win over the Hawks.

League sponsors, Lime, have set up a “Text to Win competition to see who will be the Favourite Pitcher and Favourite Team of 2011.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – For 6 ½ Innings all was calm on the ballfield, with the Hawks giving as good as they got against the Pythons. Then came the serene Bria Smith, who smashed the peace with a long, long, big hit (whatever Darier Malone may think!) to deep left field and a two run Homer to send the Pythons to a 13-6 victory.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Singles, doubles, triples, sacrifice flies and nine runs! And that was just the first inning as the Crushers entered the snake pit and was sent packing by the Pythons on Sunday May 1, 2011 at the Old Recreation Ground.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Seeing Roy Hill gave up 4 runs in the 3rd to put the Reds 6-5 ahead was enough for Neville Smith to take over the mound and save the Hurricanes’ blushes. Smith allowed just 2 hits in 5 scoreless innings as the Hurricanes held out for 7-6 win!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The bottom of the table clash between VG Ballaz and Upsetters went the way of the Upsetters, but they still remain rooted to last place in the standings following a defeat to East Invaders.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Darier Malone hit 3 clean out the park, Jelissa Potter added 3 more and once again the ESHS Rams proved unbeatable at the 15th Ruby Rutnick Softball Tournament played in St John over the weekend.
