FSC invites comments on proposed amendment to its regulations
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Financial Services Commission (FSC) wants to get the views of industry practitioners on proposed amendments to a certain financial services legislation.
And as part of its commitment to involve stakeholders in the process for introducing, reviewing and implementing financial services regulation, the FSC is inviting comments on the proposed Financial Services (Miscellaneous Exemptions) Regulations, 2010.
The proposed regulations contain clarification on exemptions applicable to various financial services legislation.
The FSC encourages practitioners and other industry stakeholders to review, evaluate and comment on the proposed regulations, which can be viewed in its entirety on the Publications section of the FSC’s website www.bvifsc.vg.
The consultation period is open until 31 August, 2010.
