Armed men caught attempting to rob RT police station

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Police have three men in custody after they forcibly entered the Road Town Police Station around 2:40 am this morning, November 24, a police press release stated.
When VINO contacted police spokeswoman, Diane Drayton, she said the names of the trio cannot be revealed until they have been charged.
Three armed masked men entered the station and were apprehended shortly after by armed police officers at the station. Another male suspect was subsequently detained along with a vehicle.
One officer sustained minor injuries, the release further stated.
Investigations are continuing and further information will provided as it becomes available.
