The race, which also included a 5K version, saw 35 athletes take to the start line at the festival ground in Carrot Bay. Athletes headed to Smugglers Cove before returning to Carrot Bay for the finish.

Seuffer clocked 49:03.04 minutes to take the win ahead of the experienced Mark Stephenson (51:45.38).

Rashad Boyce was third in 56:12.68.

Lindsay dominates

The women’s race belonged to Katrina Lindsay, who clocked 52:33.67, and had no challengers along the route.

Sarah Latham was second in 58:49.08, while Rosmond Johnson finished third in 1:01:05.20.

The 5K race was won by Charlie Potgieter, who clocked 23:10.

First for ladies was Shantae Matthew.

Next up for road runners participating in the 3-race series is the Beef Island 10k on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
