Court sittings to be held @R&R Malone Complex in Pockwood Pond
According to a notice from the ECSC and published in the Official Gazette on September 10, 2026, Her Ladyship the Honourable Madam Margaret Price-Findlay, Chief Justice, has directed and declared that Unit No. Z, Upper Floor, Building 2, R&R Malone Complex, Pockwood Pond, Tortola, Territory of the Virgin Islands, is a court for the purposes of conducting Sittings of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
The notice did not say whether the sittings would be criminal or commercial; however, the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands recently approved the establishment of a third Commercial Court under the ECSC.
It is also unclear when the first sitting at Pockwood Pond will be held.
The Virgin Islands is currently home to one of two Commercial Divisions of the ECSC High Court of Justice, with the other being in St Lucia. The Commercial Court hears “commercial claims” with a minimum value of US$500,000.
