GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- A Customer Service Care Centre on Jost van Dyke was finally opened on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Albert H. Chinnery Administration Building.

The opening signifies the fulfilment of a 2025 promise made by the Office of the Deputy Governor for a customer service centre on Jost van Dyke.

“When you work in the public service, there are many defining moments, and this, for me, will be one of them for a very long time,” Deputy Governor Mr David D. Archer Jr. said.

He added that the overall commitment has been to ensure that government services, not just on Tortola, but also on all of the other islands, are met with the same care, love and dedication.

Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Deputy Governor Mrs Sharleen S. DaBreo-Lettsome said, “To the people of Jost van Dyke, we are happy to provide this for you, and we hope that you'll make good use of it.”

Open House

An Open House was held on Tuesday, where residents of Jost van Dyke were invited to meet the team at the centre, learn about the services they provide, ask questions, share feedback and connect with the customer service centre team in person.

Residents were encouraged to know that their voice matters, and that the government is committed to bringing customer-focused services closer to the community.

In July 2025, a fully functioning branch of the Customer Service Care Centre opened on Virgin Gorda.

The government also committed to opening a Customer Service Care Centre on Anegada.
