Speaking during JTV Channel 55’s The Big Story with Cathy O. Richards on Monday, September 14, 2026, Willock detailed some of his plans for District 3. 

“One of the things that the people of the Third District is going to find in me is that I am going to fight for them. I am going to fight for them and I am not going to play any dirty politics.”

Willock said he will never criticise his opponents and plans to come to the people of District 3 with humility, detailing for them his plans as why he is the better candidate. 

“I’m not going to get in that mud and I noticed that the mud has started, I’m being accused of all sorts of things but that’s fine, I come to the people of District Three with humility.”

Power don’t phase me, I’m a servant leader

Willock added, “If I’ve done or said anything that have caused anybody to have a negative impression of me, I apologise. When you get to know Julian Willock, you will know that I am one of the coolest cats in town, you just got to get to know me.”

He said there is a public perception of him that power goes to his head but that is far from true. “Power don’t phase me. I’m not in power now and I’m doing all these things, so having power don’t phase me.”

The District 3 Representative hopeful said if the people decide to choose someone else at the next general election, he will not turn his back on them. 

“I will still stay in my community. I’m a servant leader. I will continue the  job fairs, I will continue advocating, I will continue lobbying, I will continue helping people because that’s my nature, that’s who I am.”
