Pilots give LIAT midnight deadline for apologies

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI. In a high-level meeting held at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados on Tuesday, LIAT’s management was given an ultimatum by Leeward Islands Airline Pilots Association (LIALPA) to retract several statements made in its press release dated Monday 14th June 2010.

No damage in plane engine malfunction

The management of LIAT (1974) LTD wishes to advise that LI 506 travelling from Antigua to St. Kitts on Monday, May 3rd with 35 passengers and 3 crew members on board, returned to the V.C. Bird International Airport shortly after takeoff due to an engine malfunction.
