Leaders of Anegada human smuggling case found guilty

ANEGADA, VI. A St. Maarten court found Raymond Registe of St. Thomas and Medeline Registe-Val of Haiti guilty as the leaders of the human smuggling expedition that ended tragically in the waters off Anegada in Jan. 2009. Each will serve five years in prison.

Crash simulation tests BVI Emergency Response on Anegada

ANEGADA (VINO). A Cessna 402-c left the Auguste George International Airport destined for San Juan, Puerto Rico and crashed after just leaving the runway 27—or so BVI Airports Authority enacted when emergency responders simulated a crash last week.
