Local Bishop elected to the highest council of the COG International
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Local Bishop Ishmael Charles of the New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre NTCOG has been recognized internationally for his outstanding service to the world church.
The Church of God International held its 73rd International General Assembly during the week of 27-30 July in Orlando, Florida.
At the gathering of church leaders from around the world, the Virgin Islands Bishop, Rev. Ishmael Charles, of the church in Baugher’s Bay, was elected to the highest council of 18 within the COG International.
Bishop Charles has a local membership of 800, oversees local ministries of NTCOG in West End, Virgin Gorda, Sea Cows Bay, and the Caribbean. He is currently in his 21st year of ministry.
