LIAT “Just Go” deals not a new initiative

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua– LIAT says recent reports in sections of the media that it has changed its fare structure as a result of the fare strategy of other airlines are inaccurate.
Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown, in a press release, said that LIAT’s “Just Go” initiative, which was recently published in the media highlighting its lowest fares, has now been in place for more than three years.
“LIAT has always been cognizant of the needs of its customers and developed “Just Go” and similar programmes where passengers may obtain significantly reduced fares,” he said.
“For more than three years now we have been advertising our “Just Go” fares online, in the media and in our City Ticketing Offices. The “Just Go” product was not implemented as a result of competitive activity but is a seasonal initiative undertaken by LIAT.”
The Corporate Communications Manager said that customers visiting www.liat.com as well as subscribers to LIAT‟s e-newsletter would no doubt be familiar with the “Just Go” product.
