Bam- Bam! The mighty fall!
No love lost as Kathleen Fahie, at bat for the Crushers, had her daughter, Bam Bam doing the catching for the Pythons.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Singles, doubles, triples, sacrifice flies and nine runs! And that was just the first inning as the Crushers entered the snake pit and was sent packing by the Pythons on Sunday May 1, 2011 at the Old Recreation Ground.
In what the commentator described as a blood bath, the Pythons beat the Crushers 18 – 5 on the back of 14 hits. Nine of those runs came in the first inning when the Pythons scored at will against Felecia Wattley.
Kathleen Fahie, in relief of Wattley was shown no respect either as the young guns, led by Darier Malone’s 4 runs and 4 RBI’s opened up a one game lead atop the standings ahead of next Sunday’s rematch.

Jelissa Potter led the Pythons in an 18-5 victory over the Crushers to remain the league's only unbeaten team.
Jelissa Potter took the win, Valissa Brathwaite scored 2 and knocked in 2 more, but virtually every Python had a hit in the run fest.
Celine Thomas took the loss for the Crushers who have a week to work out how to overcome the Pythons. The two teams meet next Sunday at 4pm and the Crushers will have to work out a way of stopping the energy, speed and ability of the Pythons.
A confusing end to the Warriors game against the Hawks occurred when the next player in the Warriors line up was unable to bat, having been ejected by Officials moments earlier.
The Warriors were deemed to have forfeited
The same result went against the VG Ballaz who did not have a team ready at game time.
The Hawks and the ESHS got the weekend’s action underway, with the Hawks winning 16-4. Thea Cooke took the win, Misha Walters hit a Homer and Renee Hodge scored 3 with 2 RBI’s.
The Blue Wings and the Invaders continued their neck and neck run at the top of the league as both recorded victories.
The Wings beat the Upsetters 23-12, with Elgin Jeppersen hitting a Homer, Raphael Rabsatt scoring 3 runs, Deshaun Brooks also scoring 3 and adding 4 RBI’s. For the Upsetters, Arthur Titley hit 3 runs and 1RBI.
The East Invaders kept up the pace with a 10-1 win over the Ballaz. Led by Jaimi Potter with the ball and Tramore Frazer with the bat, the Invaders had the game sewn up inside 5 inning.
In the clash of teams without a win the Warriors came out victorious over the ESHS Rams, winning 16-6, with Sarah Potter credited for the win and Kimesha Adams scoring twice with 4 RBI’s.
Before Sundays demolition job the Crushers did get themselves into form with an 11-4 win over the Lady Braves. Kathleen Fahie took the win with Celine Thomas scoring 2 runs and adding 3 RBI’s.

THE GAME WEZ EXCITING THANKS FOR COVERING VINO
I enjoy seeing these ladies playing ball…but the turn out remain weak.
This sport doesn’t have spectators – i only ever see the teams watching the games – just look at the pictures and you will see one spectator.
If you came to the game you would see spectators. In these picture you can only see under the bleachers. You expect fans to go under the bleachers to see the game? This is a perfect example where people who are not on the scene and dont have any facts should resist from making comments. It makes you looks stupid as hell
Jelissa call you have come a long way…I enjoy watching you play
