Summary of arrests April 25 – May 1 2010.

Assault on police

  • On 30-04-2010 at 1049hrs, Police arrested and charged 29-year-old Dwight Clarke, a native of Jamaica and a resident of St. Thomas, USVI for the following offences: (1) Assault on Police, (2) Indecent Language and (3) Threatening Language. His arrest was as a result of report made on 30-04-2010.
  • On 29-04-2010 at 1730hrs, Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old female and a 14-year-old male for the following offences: (1) Assault on Police, (2) Resisting Arrest, (3) Resisting Arrest, (4) Disorderly Conduct, (5) Criminal Damage. Their arrests were as a result of a report made of an attack on an Officer on 29-04-2010.

Unlawful posssesion of cannabis

  • On 28-04-2010 at 1035hrs, Police arrested and charged Jakeil Harrigan of Long Bush for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

Armed with an offensive weapon

  • On 28-04-2010 at 2035hrs, Police arrested and charged Tom Hitchman, a native of Jamaica, residing at Greenland for the offence of being Armed with an Offensive Weapon.  His arrest is as a result of a report made by Cupid Jeffers of East End on 24-04-2010.

Burglary

  • On 28-04-2010 at 2100hrs, Police arrested 18-year-old Bakembe George of Valley Virgin Gorda for Burglary.  His arrest was a result of a report made on 09-04-2010.

Handling stolen goods

  • On 29-04-2010 at 1830hrs, Police arrested and charged two 15-year-old males of Valley Virgin Gorda for Handling Stolen Goods. Both were granted police bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety for their appearance before the Magistrate’s Court at the Valley Virgin Gorda on 05-06-2010 at 1000hrs. His arrest was a result of a report made on 09-04-2010.

Bigamy

  • On 29-04-2010 at 1400hrs, Police arrested and charged 39-year-old Richard Finnegan, a native of Canada and a resident at Cane Garden Bay with one count of Bigamy and one count of providing false information to a person employed in the Public Service.
