The timing of the launch, nestled between the birth date of Ruth Clover Penn-Anthony and Mothers Day, honours the memory of the late matriarch of the family who started the original Clover’s in October 1962 on Lower Main Street, Road Town, Tortola, a press release from the store stated.

Described as a store that carries quality leather shoe lines like Clarks, Moda, Sofft, Naturalizer, Johnston & Murphy, Hush Puppies, handbags and accessories, Clover’s Shoe-tique will be located in The Professional Building next to Fort Christian parking lot in St. Thomas.

Clover’s is also renowned for ‘Gipsy’ panty hose which reportedly lasts weeks per pair.

Operated by Patrick Anthony, he points out that “the venture is a collaborative effort by members of the Anthony family owners of Clover’s on Wickhams Cay 1, Tortola.”

Meanwhile, General Manager Michael Anthony says “Customers can expect the same great quality, service and value which have drawn customers over the years.”
