Tourist Board invites travellers to 'slow down' & save during 2026 'Unrushed Season'
Spanning the destination’s shoulder season, typically from July to early November, the Unrushed Season offers travellers more space to unwind on pristine beaches, island hop and sail around the archipelago, explore dive sites and enjoy the VI’s restaurants, resorts and local culture.
According to BVITBFC, in a press release on July 21, 2026, with reduced seasonal rates and special packages across the Territory, visitors can also find greater value while enjoying many of the same experiences that make the Virgin Islands an inviting year-round destination.
'Naturally relaxed & unhurried way to experience the Caribbean'
“The British Virgin Islands offers a naturally relaxed and unhurried way to experience the Caribbean, and the Unrushed Season gives travellers even more time to connect with our people, explore each island and appreciate the archipelago’s natural beauty,” said Clive L. McCoy, Director of Tourism.
“Our festival season is also in full swing during this time, and with the added bonus of seasonal savings, travellers can immerse themselves in the destination’s culture and create a visit that feels even more personal, meaningful and distinctly BVI," McCoy added.
Visitors can take advantage of offers from various companies, including Horizon Yacht Charters, Long Bay Beach Resort, Necker Island, Oil Nut Bay, Peter Island Resort, Virgin Gorda Village Hotel, Nanny Cay Resort & Marina, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, Virgin Gorda Villa Rentals, Sugar Mill Hotel, and Rosewood Little Dix Bay.
