ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – On Friday evening, the Corrine Brewley Festiville was transformed into an atmosphere of sweet reggae music

Patrons rocked and scanted to the conscious music that emanated from the many performers and bands.

One of the special performances of the night came from Demarco, who is well known for many of his popular tunes including renowned “Fallen Soldiers” and “Standing Soldier” and his latest top hit “True Friend”.

Grammy Award winning T.O.K gave a good account of themselves by not only their singing ability but with their many extraordinary dance moves. The Jamaican reggae and dancehall group went through from their latest to their newest songs including “Couple Up” where they called for everyone in the crowd to have a partner to dance. At one point during their performance they used a few young ladies from the crowd to get on stage and dance to “She’s hot, she’s blazing”. They ended their performance with the song “When I cry” but was encored back on stage by DJ Bertram when they performed “Send me an angel”.

During the wee hours of Saturday morning, the harmonious voice of legendary reggae icon Gregory Isaac sent shivers down the spine when he belted out his first song “If you want to be my number one”.

Gregory Isaacs.

While the reggae legend has grown in age, his golden voice has not changed over the years as the lashed out many of his famous songs including “Meet me at the Corner”, “Rumours”, and ended with his signature “Night Nurse” to bring the curtains down on the night of entertainment for reggae music.
