Seized motor scooters will be crushed- CoP

PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI – While the territory and more so the police are eagerly awaiting the return of regular sittings of the Magistrate’s and High Courts, there is a minimising of arrests for small matters; however, when it comes to the breaking of traffic laws, especially by scooter riders, a harsh measure is now being taken- to crush the seized motor scooters.

RVIPF seeks support for law-abiding scooter riders

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In a joint operation between the Traffic Department and the Tactical Unit, five motor scooters were seized in Road Town area, one in Cane Garden Bay and one in the East End area for not having proof of ownership, licence, insurance and registration within the last week.
