ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI—The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said it conducted a series of operations this past weekend, resulting in significant seizures and the arrest of an individual in possession of a prohibited firearm and drugs.

Richardson Dangleben faces federal charges for murder of USVI cop

FREDERIKSTED, ST Croix, USVI- On Friday, July 7, 2023, the lone suspect in the murder of [US] VIPD Detective Delberth Phipps was formally charged in federal court. Richardson Dangleben Jr. will now be tried for the first-degree murder of a [US] Virgin Islands police officer while engaged in their official duties, as well as possession of a firearm with a removed, obliterated, or altered serial number.
