Police arrest 2 with Glock firearms after search of red Kia Soul
According to multiple sources familiar with this incident, police were called and responded, but on arrival the suspect was no longer in the area.
As members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force continued their usual patrols, and were still investigating the incident, a red Kia Soul was stopped and searched. Two occupants in the vehicle were arrested, and the search turned up two unlicensed Glock firearms.
No one was reported hurt as police conducted their searches of the Kia Soul this morning.
Series of incidents involving firearms
The firearm seizure and arrests come after several gun-related events in the territory have left residents deeply concerned.

Also on October 7, 2025, during the day, a masked man- believed to be armed- attempted to break into a home in Meyers Estate, but his attempt was foiled, including by police on patrol in the area.
During the early hours of Saturday, October 4, 2025, gunmen entered a popular bar in the vicinity of Tortola Pier Park in Road Town and robbed its patrons, leaving 24-year-old Jevonte Barnes nursing gunshot wounds at the Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, three armed masked men robbed people at a birthday party in Mount Healthy.

Who would have thought it.
Helmets next.
Stopping at Red lights.
Both wheels on the ground?
Insurance?
Hope they don't get into selling drugs and stuff.
It seems like there are three main points:
1. Outside the roadside Spanish bar
2. Across the road from the Guyanese shop by the bus stop. It seems like they sit and wait?
3. In the Ally by the laundry.
All done in open. All in public.
What message are we sending to the criminal elements in our community when we allow illegal activity to happen in public and on the main road? Could it be that criminality is okay? Could we, by inaction, be encouraging criminal activity?
Go home. Local officers dont need plain clothes to know the place and the people.
