Racism is real and must be exposed in order to be defeated… Those Persons who claim that speaking about it, makes it worse, are wrong, because all our present progress, has resulted from public Debate, and the Caribs, Arawaks, and American Indians, who were silent on their Displacement, suffered badly.

FREDERIKSTED, Sr Croix, USVI- A new organization vowing to confront American colonialism launched on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, determined to fight to change the way the United States deals with the approximately 3.6 million people living in its territories — including the US Virgin Islands — in regards to democracy and self-determination.
Racism? Republicans expel Black lawmakers for protesting against gun violence in US
NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA- A vote to expel two Black lawmakers from the Tennessee House of Representatives for leading a protest on gun control has been deemed controversial, as a White female legislator who also led the protest was not expelled.
Witch-Hunt & harassment continues! UK Police arrested & released Wade N. Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The alleged witch-hunt and harassment of locals by the United Kingdom (UK) police officers continue under the pretext of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI). Many residents have lambasted the one-man commission's report as biased and its credibility is under attack, since all of the areas that have issues under the Governor’s portfolio (civil service, courts, police force) have not been touched in the report.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After the late Queen's lady-in-waiting Lady Susan Hussey apologised and resigned after she was deemed to make racist comments to a black British charity boss, Buckingham Palace also apologised for Lady Hussey’s actions; however, Bishop John I. Cline says Buckingham Palace as well as nations that perpetuated racism need to do more in rooting out racism and “righting the wrongs” against people of African descent.
