Creque aka ‘Gumption’ is pledging $150,000.00 to assist teachers, under one condition- that the money is not handled by government officials or the Chief Education Officer.

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- When the 2019/2020 academic year commences in the Virgin Islands (VI) in September, most children are expected to enter the classrooms fully equipped with the basic essentials, thanks to the many charitable initiatives to provide as many children as possible with at least a new back pack, exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, erasers and in most cases water bottles and bowls for their lunch.
