Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, being financed in part by all passengers (including visitors and tourists) travelling in or out of the Virgin Islands (VI).

Controversial airport runway resurfacing to start March 2019

BEEF ISLAND, VI - Some have blasted the project, stating that it is money leaving the Territory and there are tools locally to do the project. However, Phase one of the resurfacing of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport runway will commence on Friday, March 15, 2019.

BVIAA enters into an agreement with WSP Canada Inc.

BEEF ISLAND, Tortola, VI - The BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) has entered into an agreement with WSP Canada INC. (WSP) to
carry out a public private partnership feasibility study to evaluate the feasibility of a PPP transaction for the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.
