Controversial airport runway resurfacing to start March 2019

BEEF ISLAND, VI - Some have blasted the project, stating that it is money leaving the Territory and there are tools locally to do the project. However, Phase one of the resurfacing of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport runway will commence on Friday, March 15, 2019.

BEEF ISLAND, VI- Passengers travelling regionally or internationally using the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport at Beef Island will no longer be required to pay their $20.00 departure tax directly at the airport booth.
