FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— The cause of death of Lyana Serieux and her two young sons were determined to be homicide by the [US] Virgin Islands Medical Examiner on Tuesday August 8, 2017, [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (V.I.P.D.) Public Information Officer Glen Dratte confirmed to The Consortium Thursday, August 10, 2017.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- At least one person has been arrested in relation to the murder of David Springette aka ‘Mooney’.
Springette was shot and killed in Fat Hogs Bay on June 21, 2017, bringing the number of homicide in the Virgin Islands to a record 7 in 6 months.
