ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI— In the wake of the fatal shooting—just ahead of Mother’s Day—in which Nyron A. Erickson was slain in a hail of gunfire, Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) announced plans for a national crime summit that will bring together a wide range of stakeholders in an urgent bid to tackle gun violence and strengthen public safety in the Virgin Islands.
