Body of slain firefighter Eric A. Albert given water salute before flight to DR
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- Slain firefighter Eric Alezis Albert, who was fatally shot at Greenland on June 20, 2025, was given a water salute at Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island before the body was taken to Dominican Republic, the home country of the late Albert, on July 9, 2025.
Membership mandatory for taxi operators @ TB Lettsome Airport- BVIAA
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- The British Virgin Islands Airports Authority (BVIAA) is notifying all taxi operators who intend to provide services at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport that they are to apply for membership with the authorised Airport Taxi Association – Transportation Services (Virgin Islands) 2023 Ltd. (TSVI).
WINAIR seeking to increase service to VI- Hon Rymer
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Following a recent courtesy call from team WINAIR headed by CEO Hans van de Velde, Acting Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Kye M. BVI Airports Authority & LIAT 2020 in talks to service VI- BVIAA MD
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- The BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) is currently in talks with LIAT 2020 to bring the new airline to the Virgin Islands, Kurt A.G. Menal, Managing Director of the BVI Airports Authority, has confirmed to Virgin Islands News Online (VINO).
