SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The continuation of the Boxing Day Horse Races that were cancelled due to poor weather at Ellis Thomas Downs in Sea Cows Bay on December 26, 2019 has been hit with another snag.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands Horse Owners’ Association is urging the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Government to urgently bring legislation to the House of Assembly (HoA) to legalise betting at horse races locally or risk losing the sport to sister territory United States Virgin Islands (USVI).
Boxing Day horse races to continue on January 19, 2020
SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The remaining horse races that were cancelled on December 26, 2019 at Ellis Thomas Downs in Sea Cows Bay due to heavy downpours will now be run on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
