Boyd, 73, who most recently served as an assistant principal, has been arrested and charged with multiple felony sexual offenses after an investigation into allegations that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a male student during the 2019–2020 school year at Joseph A. Gomez Elementary School. According to police, Boyd was taken into custody at 10:15 a.m. Friday, and is being held on $500,000 bail.
