HMS Medway arrives in VI for 4-day visit & demonstration
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – UK offshore patrol vessel, the HMS Medway has arrived in the Virgin Islands (VI) reportedly for a 4-day visit, during which the ship will demonstrate its Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief capabilities of its military passangers.
UK Ship en route to VI for disaster preparedness mission
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A UK Royal Navy patrol ship, the HMS Medway will reportedly visit Tortola from October 22, 2021, as part of the United Kingdom’s Caribbean Task Group’s mission to prepare for and respond to disasters in the region.

Governor admits HMS Medway's return is against will of VI
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Following a decision to snub orders by the Premier, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) to deny a request to have a United Kingdom (UK) navy ship come to the Virgin Islands to assist with border security, Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr Augustus J.U. Jaspert has admitted his decision may have gone against the will of the people wanting to handle their own affairs.
UK navy to conduct disaster relief exercise on Norman Island this weekend
