Rotary Sunrise, Rotary of Tortola finish in dramatic tie

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- While Gayle Lindsay, a former 400/800m runner was on holiday visiting her twin sister and churning out a victory in the process and Reuben J. A. Stoby was continuing his winning ways, the Rotary Sunrise Club was putting the pedal to the metal to tie defending champions Rotary Club of Tortola, who hadn't lost a Service Clubs Cross Country race in the last 11 seasons of the Mourant Ozannes College Classic Series.

WICKHAM’s CAY, Tortola, VI – With standing ovation, the team tasked with the responsibility of staging the 2015 leg of the Rotary Club of Tortola’s Grand Affair fundraiser event, members and special guests to their usual Thursdays’ lunch meeting, were applauded as it was announced officially for the first time on March 5, 2015 that the club raked in some $345, 000.
