ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - BVI Post is alerting its letterbox holders that starting in 2023, the rental fee for their letterboxes will increase.
‘Majority’ of BVIPA’s fee hike postponed until 2022- Premier Fahie
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has disclosed that the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) did not follow the recommendations of Cabinet, such as having public consultations, before implementing a new fee structure and said a majority of the new fees will be postponed until next year.
BVICCHA weighs in on new Port fees
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Recently, the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) issued a press release indicating that they were increasing fees for services the authority offers. Immediately with the release, businesses began to contact the BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association (BVICCHA) and complain.
Disgruntlement over pending increase in mooring fees
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Some owners of seabed licenses (moorings) are taking issue the increase in fees to be instituted soon. Some claim the action is untimely and while a relatively advanced notice was given, there should have been some consultation first.
