John S. Duncan Out! Augustus J. U. Jaspert In! As new governor in August

As the tenure of controversial Governor John S. Duncan OBE is almost up, Britain has announced the appointment of Augustus (Gus) James Ulysses Jaspert to take up the position.

Radio caller wants new constitution; No power for Governor

Duncan OBE to evoke section 103 (b) which gave him the power to withdraw money from the consolidated fund or other public funds, at least one caller is suggesting a constitutional change, one that leaves the Governor powerless.
