UPDATE: 'Weakend' VI go down 1-2 to Dominica @ A.O. Shirley Grounds
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The [British] Virgin Islands, weakened by the absence of a few of its regular players due to red cards and injuries, battled hard against a determined Dominica but eventually fell to the visitors 1-2 in their CONCACAF Nations League match at A.O. GROS ISLET, St Lucia- The [British] Virgin Islands (VI) seemed on course to recording their first-ever win against Dominica when they met at the Beausejour Stadium in St Lucia in the CONCACAF Nations League today, Thursday, October 12, 2023; however, they had to settle for a 1-1 draw in a game that unfortunately saw a Dominica player suffer a fractured leg and Carlos Septus of the VI sent off.
