UPDATE: 60 bales of cocaine seized following boat chase- RVIPF
EAST END, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has said the joint operation between the US Virgin Islands and local authorities last night, March 5, 2024, has resulted in the most substantial sea seizure to date, as some 60 bales of cocaine were seized.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- The US Customs and Border Protection officers in the San Juan Field Office have successfully intercepted and seized three shipments containing counterfeit luxury brand merchandise. The seized items, which included jewelry and sunglasses, have a combined manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of over $1.2 million, had they been genuine.

Shappert announced Wednesday, May 19, 2021, that Ra’Kheel Velasquez of Georgia was arrested May 14, 2021, on a warrant signed by District Court Magistrate Judge George W. Cannon, Jr for the charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute by person on board aircraft.
