Peter Island Resort holds yard sale in aid of FSN
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – It is a ‘stitch in time’ for the Family Support Network (FSN) as proceeds from a yard sale held by the Peter Island Resort will be given to the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that assists victims and others affected by Domestic Violence.

Poverty exacerbating Domestic Violence in VI- FSN
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “If the churches do not get involved in this fight, the fight is going to be even harder. The leaders of our churches need to climb down out of their ecumenical ivory towers and look at their congregation because you are looking to all the government officials to tell you that it is one in three women being abused. So that means they are looking at the victims right in front of them, so they need to join the fight.”
FSN gets sizable cheque from Friends of the BVI!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Friends of the British Virgin Islands (FBVI) has come to the aid of the Family Service Network (FSN) with a healthy donation of $26,000. The money was given to the organisation in December of 2012 but the ceremonial handing over was done today January 14, 2013 by Director of the London Office Mr. Kedrick E. Malone.
CIBC FirstCaribbean closes out 2012
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In keeping with the Seasonal spirit of giving, CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank directed funds to assist families and individuals in need within the BVI community. Country Manager, Mr Peter Edmunds, presented a cheque for $3000 to Mrs Judith Charles, President of the Family Support Network (FSN), to go towards the charitable organisation’s services in helping those facing domestic abuse, poverty, homelessness, and mental illness.
