Prayers invited on National Day of Repentance today, March 29
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- As the Government launches an attack against COVID-19 on all fronts, today, Sunday, March 29, 2020 has been declared a National Day of Repentance and the public is invited to call in to various radio stations at scheduled times to offer prayers and encouragement for the Territory.
No singing 'God save the Queen' outside protocols - Skelton-Cline
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI - Noting that the National Anthem should only be sung or played in the presence of the Queen's Representative, ZBVI 780 'Honestly Speaking' radio show host Mr Claude O. Skelton-Cline says it continues to be baffling why 'God Save The Queen' is being sung during assemblies at the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS). This practice, he said, highlights a colonial mindset.
