HOA meets today May 14; More questions to answer!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Less than three weeks after its last meeting, today May 14, 2013 will see another session of the House of Assembly (HOA) of the Virgin Islands. The ninth sitting of the second session of the second House of Assembly will meet at 10 A.M. with a packed agenda of over 70 questions from the Opposition, reports and bills.

UPDATE: Under pressure Governor appoints Ishmael Scatliffe to PSC

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After almost four months of resistance and close to violation of the Virgin Islands Constitutional Order and under pressure from the Leader of the Opposition Ralph T. O’Neal OBE, the United Kingdom appointed Governor William B. McCleary has complied and appointed businessman and Virgin Islander Ishmael Scatliffe as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
