VIP - a formidable opposition?
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Four members of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) will now be sitting in the opposition’s seats in the House of Assembly, and while they will be a tough team, Carvin Malone opined that they will analyse the issues and make informed decisions for the betterment of the Virgin Islands.

Like the good book says he that is filthy let him be filthy still,” were the words coming from a rejuvenated 9th District Representative and Premier Ralph T. O’Neal at a lively rally at the Herbert Ashford Waters Community Centre in Virgin Gorda last evening November 3, 2011 as he took a hard swing at the opposition National Democratic Party (NDP) on the homestretch to General Elections on Monday November 7, 2011.
Call repeated for something to be named in honour of Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Many buildings and infrastructure in the Virgin Islands such as the Althea Scatliffee Primary School, H.L. Stoutt Community College, Adina Donovan Home and Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium bear the names of notable Virgin Islanders as a tribute to their sacrifice and service to the Territory, however, there has been no naming in honour of the Territory’s stalwart politician Premier Ralph T. O’Neal.
