DR man prosecuted for alleged knife assault on girlfriend

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Dominican Republic national, Kelvin Solomon, 26, appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on January 23, 2013 charged with the offences of criminal trespass, being armed with an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The offences were allegedly committed on November 18, 2012.

Bar owner fined $200 for opening beyond prescribed time

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Epifania Thomas, the owner of Anna’s Bar in Sea Cows Bay, was fined $200 or an alternative of four (4) days imprisonment on the charge of failing to close her business within the prescribed time for closing.
