UN told about VI landslides; Climate Change vulnerabilities
NEW YORK, NY, USA– Virgin Islands Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has petitioned the UN C-24 Committee for what he called "climate justice" for countries that remain vulnerable to Climate Change, using heavy rains and landslides in the VI as an example.

Premier announced 2024 Environment Month Green Pledge Drive

Stiell on support to the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) to help in the response to the negative impacts of climate change as the islands face stronger and more frequent storms, heavier rains, flash flooding and sea level rise.
August CoI reform deadline ‘realistic & achievable’– Premier
