'My family needs me'- Su Thomas bids VI farewell
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - “This is no doubt a very sad and emotional moment for me having to leave the BVI to return home. It is indeed sad for me. I never thought that I would have become so attached to the point of me being this emotional that I have to leave,” said Ms Su Thomas as she struggled to hold back the tears from running down her cheeks during an exclusive interview with Virgin Islands News Online.
Digicel announces $10,000 winner
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After four attempts to customers who didn’t answer their phone, one Fiona Rose picked up her phone to hear Su Thomas, Digicel's Commercial Manager saying “You have won $10,000 from Digicel”. After a stunned silence, Ms Rose, originally from Guyana, dashed from Bobby’s Supermarket to the Flagship Store on Waterfront Drive to claim her prize.
