UPDATE: HoA off to late start; Opposition no show @ opening
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In an unprecedented move, at the continuation of the Fifth Sitting of the Second Session of the Fourth House of Assembly (HoA) today, Thursday, February 27, 2020, all of the Opposition Members were a no show when the house opened at its chambers in Road Town at around 10:45am.
Public schools to resume except schools used as Advance Polling Day stations
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ministry and Department of Education and Culture is informing parents, teachers and students that all public schools will reopen tomorrow, Friday, November 4th except for the Alexandrina Maduro and the Enid Scatliffe Pre-Primary Schools which will remain closed to facilitate the Advance Polling Day process.
