Public schools to resume except schools used as Advance Polling Day stations
On Polling Day, Monday November 7, 2011, all public schools will be closed
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ministry and Department of Education and Culture is informing parents, teachers and students that all public schools will reopen tomorrow, Friday, November 4th except for the Alexandrina Maduro and the Enid Scatliffe Pre-Primary Schools which will remain closed to facilitate the Advance Polling Day process.
On Polling Day, Monday November 7, 2011, all public schools will be closed, a press release from Government Information Service (GIS) stated.
The schools will resume regular operations on Tuesday, November 8th. Persons requiring more information may telephone the Department of Education at 468-3701 ext 2036.
