Controversy looms over selection of schools’ top students

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As the excitement of graduation throughout the Territory comes to an end, the selection criteria for Valedictorian and Salutatorian at some of the Territory’s public primary schools came into question where at least one top student of her school in the Primary Five examination did not earn the right to be Valedictorian nor Salutatorian due to a “special criteria” that has been implemented by her school.
