8 mths later: Not even 1 CCTV camera installed; Crime fighting a joke?

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Even before Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in September of 2017 not even one of the CCTV cameras installed in Road Town was operational. Then came the two category 5 hurricanes that toppled the poles and smashed the cameras on Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

Residents to be cautioned when in CCTV camera zone!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Signs notifying residents that they are in a security zone will be placed throughout the Territory when the CCTV cameras are fully operational, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) David Morris in a recent interview with this news agency.
