ST. THOMAS, USVI — A police officer charged with simple assault and battery has been ordered to maintain a minimum distance of 100 feet from his girlfriend. The charges against 25-year-old Kimanie King stem from a November 16, 2021, incident where he allegedly battered his girlfriend who resided with him at the time.
