Caribbean OT leaders object to Governor's request for additional powers in VI
PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands- Heads of Government in the Caribbean Overseas Territories (OTs) have come in strong support of the Government of the Virgin Islands (VI) objecting to additional powers being granted to the Governor of the [British] Virgin Islands to hasten the implementation of recommendations made by a retired United Kingdom judge following a Commission of Inquiry (CoI) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
