Immigration did not instruct mother to leave child behind @ airport- Hon Wheatley
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The expatriate woman who recently exited the Virgin Islands, leaving her infant child behind- allegedly at the airport-did so as a matter of choice and was not forced to do so by the Department of Immigration.

Wheatley (R9) has announced new requirements for work permit renewals in the Virgin Islands (VI).

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Although some countries have been requesting persons on work permit, who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to go back home, the Government of the Virgin Islands is not adopting this practice at this time.
