USVI man pleads guilty to Alvaro de Lugo Post Office burglary

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - Allen Springette, 45, of St Thomas, pleaded guilty today June 14. 2018, in District Court before District Court Judge Curtis V. Gomez, to burglary of the Alvaro de Lugo Post Office, United States Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced. Sentencing is set for October 18, 2018.

Gomez today, July 6, 2017 sentenced Selmo Watts, 34, of St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) to eight months in prison and three years of supervised release for burglarising a post office, Acting United States Attorney Joycelyn Hewlett announced.

Richards for leniency on the premise that he ‘had changed his life’ after being ‘young and stupid’ Glenville Callwood did not walk out the court room with just a fine to pay and/or some order to attend counselling or do community service. He was slapped with sentences amounting to two years and four months, prison time.
