UPDATE: Beach @ St Thomas Bay in VG reopens for recreational use
VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Residents and visitors on Virgin Gorda can now use the beach at St Thomas Bay in Valley, following water quality test results which show that conditions are now suitable.
UPDATE: Cane Garden Bay Beach reopens to public
CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) has announced that the Cane Garden Bay Beach is free of contaminants and is ready for use by the public.
Long Bay Beach on Beef Island the new hot spot for tourists
BEEF ISLAND, VI- Prior to the tropical wave of August and hurricanes Irma and Maria in September, the preferred beaches for especially cruise ship tourists on Tortola were Cane Garden Bay and Brewers Bay. A new beach has since been drawing the tourists- the unspoiled Long Bay Beach on Beef Island- another of nature's little secret.
