Public Works Department on alert for impending weather
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5) says the Public Works Department (PWD) has mobilised its Emergency Response Team and is inspecting ghuts and other waterways in a proactive approach to the impending weather later today, February 6, 2024.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Although there have not been widespread reports of price-gouging in the Virgin Islands due to Coronavirus fears, there have been reports of panic buying. Supermarkets across the Territory have been busy with shoppers, who have cleaned shelves of items such as disinfectant sprays and wipes, toilet papers, paper towels, oranges and vitamin tablets.
